Bob Dylan came to Wolverhampton for the weekend and I was blessed to be there and witness his performance tonight.

We gave him a proper Wulfrunian welcome and he delivered in spades

Calm, collected, no lights, no smoke, just songs ?

On the surface, it’s just a blues band in a tour bus. But under the hood there’s an ocean.

He knows so definitively what is crucial, what is important.

In an uncertain world, he’s a steady hand. In a world full of fuss, he drinks to the truth.

He doesn’t speak in between songs. It’s all in his songs and nothing extra is required.

“I paint landscapes and I paint nudes, I contain multitudes.”
