SEPTEMBER 2011
Wed 14 – London Borderline

OCTOBER 2011

Wed 26 – Birmingham Glee Club
Thurs 27 – Nottingham Glee Club (duo gig)

Hello there.

Happy to report good times all ’round last week with two lovely shows with the Secret Sisters and the Shed fest at Coach House Old Swinford on Sunday.
The Secret Sisters made me so welcome, and it was a real thrill to get up on stage during their set and perform ‘When We Were Sleeping’ together.

My debut album
will be available to buy at my gig at the Glee Club (26.10.11), and I will be taking pre-orders on this site sometime before that.

I am really excited to be sharing a stage with Peter Bruntnell, described as “One of the finest songwriters in Britain” by The Independent. I am sure if you are reading this you probably are familiar with Peter’s lovely songs, but if you haven’t worked your way around to him yet, click here to go to his myspace. I was initally drawn in by Peter’s song ‘Sea Of Japan’ whilst travelling Japan, but I was soon hooked on the whole album. Peter’s songs are the perfect soundtrack when you are exploring, trying to break the distorted lens of your own culture…when I got back I felt compelled to get in touch”
Peter will be performing as a trio w. Danny Williams on upright bass and James Walbourne (Pretenders Guitarist)

I am in the studio this week, working on a new song I have added to my album which is called ‘My Heart Doesn’t Age (It Just Gets Older)’.

Back soon.

Dan:)
