Hello:)

4 gigs.

November

20th Coventry. Esquires coffee house at the Transport Museum

25th Walsall. Live Lounge at White Lion .

29th London. Bush Hall Tickets

December

9th Wolverhampton. Robin 2 Tickets

I should explain that I really love Bush Hall, it is a perfect size venue (bigger than a club, small enough to smell the band), with a great atmosphere, in 2006 I saw Mr Hudson and his library there and they made an industry heavy crowd really loosen up.

Iain will be performing songs from the Matthews Southern Comfort release ‘Kind Of New’ with a cracking four piece line up that includes the awesome axe man from the September tour B.J. Baartmans and keyboardist Mike Roelofs, together with Circus Envy percussionist, Mick Harding.

‘Kind Of New’ is a great new record that is picking up brilliant reviews, and an edited version of it will be a cover mount disc with The Sunday Times in October. However, the correct thing for you do to is to buy it now, be enlightened and have no regrets. Thank you x

Back in Wolverhampton in December, I will be playing with a full band, supporting ‘The Dylan Project’ at the Robin 2, Bilston.

This band feature Steve Gibbons backed by Fairport Convention’s legendary rhythm section of Gerry Conway (drums) and Dave Pegg (bass). So if you are a fan of Dylan songs (who isn’t?!) get a ticket and come and enjoy a great night of music.

Progress on my new songs feels like it has moved up a notch recently, my mind is constantly racing with song ideas, mulling over lyrics and melodies. Apologies if I seem a little distracted, or take a while to answer a question or return a comment!

I have stuck a few such song sketches up here if you are curious.

take care

dan 🙂
