Shellsuit review and Re Scheduled Light House Gig

Good Morning! It’s beautiful today and very sunny!

I am wearing new shades I bought at Glastonbury on Saturday, and in my head I think i’m still there. I had a great time there, from Beth Ditto’s super charged hello to Leonard’s wistful farewell Sunday night.

I got back yesterday, checked my mail and was happy to receive an email from James Davison of the on line music magazine “Die Shellsuit Die!” who has written a review of the demo/album sampler I’ve been selling at gigs recently: http://www.dieshellsuit.co.uk/article_detail.asp?rID=2610

The new date for the next ‘Live at Lock Works’ Light House shindig is Sept. 25th – so please let’s try and get everyone who had their night ruined by the fire alarm fiasco at the last event to come again.

Enjoy the sun,

Dan

Why Am I A Singer Songwriter? (Episode 2)

Here’s another reason, as promised:

I do it to obtain punctuation in my life, certain songs/albums mark out where things started/ended or just went a bit funny. Music is strong like that.

And thank you to everyone who bought the Home Composting CD so far this year, the yellow savings pot worked a treat and I bought two new microphones! I’ve used them to make several new recordings…hope you like the songs x
